Currently, Zurich Pensioners Hants and Dorset area tends to be Southampton/Portsmouth-centred.

 

Unlike some other regions, there is only one site for the Christmas meal, which is the Novotel, Southampton. This is a short walk away from Southampton Central station, although a train from Farnborough Main takes over an hour.

 

In 2024, the scheduled event closest to Farnborough (Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery, Whitchurch) is thirty miles away.

 

What isn't well known is that Cheltenham area extends to Reading. A Christmas meal was held in The Beefeater Southcote, near Reading, on 2nd December 2024. A summer meal was also held at the same site in August 2024.

 

Zurich Pensioners who worked in Southwood and Farnborough may find the Reading venues to be more-convenient than those held by Hants and Dorset.
