Please note the accountant's advice in the 2023/2024 accounts:
"As instructed we have examined the accounts on pages 2 and 3 for the year ended 31 March 2024 and confirm that they are in accordance with the accountlng records presented to us and the Information and explanations given to us.
We have reviewed the accounts. The review consisted primarily of enquiry, comparison and discussion of the accounts and of the information and explanations given to us.
However, we have not audited the accounts and consequently do not express any opinion on them."

I am advised that the accounts in previous years have been inspected in an identical manner.

The subscriptions total over £56,ooo pa.

Why are the annual accounts not published in Contact Plus, which is the only communication sent to all ZPA members? They are published on www.zpen.info, but are incredibly difficult to find.

Who is paid "Honoraria" of £1,050 pa and why?

Total Membership:
In 2021 it was reported to be 4983 and as at May 2022, totalled 5075.
By May 2023 it had increased to over 5200.

The reported membership implies an increase of 125 between May 2022 and May 2023. Why do the subscriptions reported in the annual accounts relating to March 2022 and March 2023 imply a drop in membership of 17?

Assuming each member pays £12pa, why do the reported subscriptions for the year ending March 2023 imply a membership of 4,714?

Welfare:
Assuming the welfare item comprises only the Tina Gilchrist updates, this implies that we are paying £480 per issue. Is this correct?
